His work focuses on turning complex research and data into clear and simple visuals that are easy to understand, helping the team share findings with partners, clients, and the public in a way that makes sense to them.
Musa holds a Diploma in Software, Hardware, and Networking. From 2014 to 2019, he lectured at Sulisha College of Management and Technology, teaching DOS and Microsoft Office, where he enjoyed helping students understand basic computer tools and how to use them effectively. From 2019 to 2023, he worked at Gibsart & Spancho Multimedia Ltd as the Deputy Manager, overseeing daily operations and leading design projects to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
He joined Meraki Analytics in 2024, working closely with the research and communications team to create visual content that supports the organization’s work. He has contributed to several major projects, providing design and communication support that made research findings clear and engaging for diverse audiences. In these projects, Musa was responsible for designing research reports, infographics, presentations, and digital media, with a focus on making technical information accessible for decision-making. Some of the projects he has worked on include: ILRAJ – Women for Water and Peace Project, International Security and Development Center (ISDC) – Cross-Border Peace and Sustainable Livelihoods Project, Global School Leaders – Lead FLN Project, and Invest Salone – Cost of Instability Project.
Beyond his professional role, Musa has also been actively involved in youth leadership. From 2022 to 2023, he served as Deputy Welfare Coordinator for Chozen Generation Sierra Leone (CGSL), and from 2024 to 2025, he has served as Welfare Coordinator, supporting members’ well-being and engagement. CGSL is a youth-led organization that works on important issues affecting young people, promoting leadership and encouraging active participation in building stronger communities.
Outside of work, Musa enjoys watching educative movies and documentaries, spending time at home with his family, and exploring good food — especially trying new meals. He values simple moments that bring peace and joy and continues to look for opportunities to grow in the design field while using his skills to tell meaningful stories through visuals.
